The United Shoe Workers of America, Local 122, passed a resolution condemning the Rankin Committee for infringing on civil rights and engaging in witch-hunts. They urge the abolition of the committee and support the Sabbath Bill, HR 46. They also plan to send copies of the resolution to California congressmen to urge them to vote against contempt citations for writers who testified at a recent Hollywood inquiry by the Committee.
