Congressman George B. Schwabe assisted Ralph Franklin McCord in expediting the payment of his claim from the Navy Disbursing Office. After contacting the General Accounting Office, it was determined that a check for $313.12 would be sent to McCord, along with an apology for the delay. Schwabe's secretary followed up with the office to ensure that the payment would be sent promptly. Schwabe expressed his frustration with the delay in processing McCord's claim and emphasized the importance of resolving the matter quickly.
