Bill Kelton, operator of Bill's Novelty Company in Chelsea, Oklahoma, is requesting assistance from George B. Schwabe, a United States Representative, in obtaining a new truck for his business. Despite making two applications to the Office of Defense Transportation in Tulsa, his requests have been denied. Schwabe advises Kelton to follow the proper procedure of appealing to the District Manager in Tulsa in order to have his application considered. Kelton expresses frustration at the delays and potential loss of his business due to the lack of a new truck.
