The Office of Defense Transportation has informed organizers of agricultural fairs that due to transportation shortages and uncertainties after V-E Day, it is not recommended to make elaborate preparations for fairs at this time. Local county fairs may still be possible, but state and regional fairs are unlikely to be feasible.
