The letter is informing Honorable George B. Schwabe that Federal funds have been approved for the plan preparation of various public works projects in Oklahoma under the War Mobilization and Reconversion Act of 1944. The purpose of these advances is to encourage states and political subdivisions to prepare for construction once materials and manpower become available. The projects include concrete street paving, municipal auditorium reconstruction, city hall construction, water supply improvements, airport development, sewage disposal plants, and other infrastructure upgrades.
