Update on Price Control Measures for Fruits and Vegetables, 1945-01-01 - 1946-12-31
Item — Box: 3, Folder: 55
Identifier: CAC_CC_047_1_3_55_0005
The Office of Price Administration received a letter from Mr. Dawson regarding concerns about the effect of published community ceilings for fruits and vegetables on the Emergency Price Control Act of 1942. They have suspended price control for potatoes and oranges, but are studying the situation and will base future policies on their findings. There is no indication of unwarrantedly high prices for peaches. Signed by Nelson C. Perry, Special Assistant to Administrator.
