The text is a series of letters regarding the Mary C. Mining Company and a proposal to assign the RFC's lien on the company's machinery and equipment to Mr. James Miller. The offer is for $3,000 to be paid in cash and a percentage of gross receipts from sales of ore and/or concentrates. The terms of the offer are contingent upon acceptance before June 15, 1945. The letters discuss the history of the mining company, court actions, and efforts to protect the equipment from theft. Ultimately, the revised terms are considered satisfactory by the Reconstruction Finance Corporation.
