The letter is from George B. Schwabe, a member of Congress, to Ronald S. Mason regarding galvanized buildings at McAlester, Oklahoma. Schwabe contacted the Executive Director of Surplus Property and instructed him to have the equipment declared surplus and advertised for sale. He advised Mason to keep in touch with the Manager of the Oklahoma City office and offered further assistance if needed. Schwabe also wrote to the Manager, requesting information on the status of the buildings and asking to be kept informed. Mason also wrote directly to Schwabe, expressing interest in purchasing two of the buildings for use on farms or ranches.
