 Item — Box: 5, Folder: 35
Identifier: CAC_CC_047_1_5_35_0008
George B. Schwabe acknowledges receiving a letter from I.W. Ingram regarding a new law signed by President Truman, which Schwabe had worked on. The law makes legal the sale of certain lands by Indians of the "Five Civilized Tribes" of Oklahoma. Schwabe promises to send a copy of the law to Ingram once it is published. Ingram requests a copy of the law as it affects land titles in his county. Schwabe also mentions a pleasant visit with Judge Thomas and reports that Ingram is in good health.
