The Act authorizes the sale of the Pawnee Reservation in Nebraska with the consent of the Pawnee tribe. The lands will be appraised and sold in separate tracts of 160 acres, with a minimum price of $2.50 per acre. The sale will be conducted through public auctions, with patents issued to purchasers upon full payment. Funds from the sale will be used to defray expenses and support the Pawnee tribe. A portion of the proceeds will be credited to the tribe, with interest, and a separate reservation in Indian Territory will be set aside for their use. Allotments of land will be made to individual tribe members, with conditions for obtaining patents.
