Mr. and Mrs. Roy W. Utter wrote a letter to George B. Schwabe, a member of Congress, asking for his support of H.R. 5059 to increase postal employees' salaries. Schwabe responded that he had worked to get the bill passed, which was successful with only one dissenting vote. He expressed his pleasure in working with the Utters and supporting postal employees.
