Mr. Wayne R. Ruffin wrote a letter to Congressman George B. Schwabe in support of bill H.R. 5059, which passed with only one dissenting vote. Ruffin expressed the need for a salary increase for postal employees to cope with inflation, and thanked Schwabe for his support. Schwabe responded, stating his pleasure in working with Ruffin on the bill and expressing his support for postal employees.
