The letter is a response from Congressman George B. Schwabe to a constituent, C. L. Tracy, regarding the Office of Price Administration (OPA). Schwabe expresses his opposition to OPA and criticizes the bureaucracy within the federal government. He believes that planned economy cannot work successfully under a system of free enterprise.
