Item — Box: 6, Folder: Unknown
Identifier: CAC_CC_047_1_6_22_0009
The letter is written by George B. Schwabe, a member of Congress, in response to a letter from Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Browning urging him to get rid of the O.P.A. Schwabe states that he has voted against the extension of O.P.A. and for amendments and restrictions to limit its provisions. He believes the Administration will not let the bill pass with restrictions. Mrs. Browning expresses her opposition to O.P.A. as it has negatively affected their rental property.
