Mrs. Birdie C. Foley expresses her opposition to the O.P.A. (Office of Price Administration) in a letter to Hon. George B. Schwabe. She criticizes the impact of rationing on food prices and rents, and calls for the abolishment of the O.P.A. and all unions. She expresses her support for the Republican party and urges for a return to free enterprise. Schwabe responds, thanking her for her input and explaining his stance against the extension of the O.P.A. and his belief in the importance of representing the wishes of constituents.
