The letter is in response to a postal card received from Mr. Charles A. Breeden questioning why the recipient, George B. Schwabe, voted to continue the OPA (Office of Price Administration). Schwabe clarifies that he has consistently opposed the OPA and voted against its extension, along with the majority of House Members. He expresses agreement with Breeden's concerns about the OPA's impact on sugar and lumber prices and assures him that he will continue to fight against the OPA.
