Congressman George Schwabe received a communication from the Tulsa Real Estate Board expressing disapproval of legislation involving further price controls. Schwabe thanked them for their input and mentioned that the majority of constituents are opposed to price controls. He found their communication so compelling that he included it in the Congressional Record without revealing their identity. The Tulsa Real Estate Board congratulated Schwabe on sustaining the President's veto on price controls and pledged not to drastically increase residential rents. They urged that price controls stay dead.
