Mrs. Louise Thomson writes to Congressman George B. Schwabe expressing her frustration with the Office of Price Administration (O.P.A.) and the impact it has had on her apartment rental business. She requests a 20% increase in rents and the ability to adjust them on an equal basis. She praises Congressman Schwabe for his principles and justice and urges him to fight against government control and for freedom. She also mentions the poor condition of her property due to the O.P.A.'s restrictions. She concludes by expressing hope that Congress can lift them out of their despair.
