Item — Box: 6, Folder: Unknown
Identifier: CAC_CC_047_1_6_30_0006
The Oklahoma League of Women Voters is asking Mr. George Schwabe, a member of the House of Representatives, to vote for the renewal of the Price Control Act in order to prevent inflation and economic instability in the United States. They also request that he oppose any amendments that would weaken the O.P.A.'s authority or end the food subsidy program. The League believes that supporting the Price Control Act is necessary to conserve products for other needy countries and continue feeding starving people worldwide.
