The letter from George B. Schwabe, M.C. addresses the views expressed in a referendum about the continuation of the O.P.A. The referendum showed that a majority of people, including farmers and World War I veterans, were against the extension of the O.P.A. Schwabe appreciates the feedback received and believes it is important for people to express their opinions on controversial issues.
