George B. Schwabe wrote a letter to Mr. R. S. Bedford opposing the Fair Employment Practice Act (H.R. 2232) and expressing his belief that the proponents of the bill do not share his values of Americanism. He mentions that President Truman supports the bill, but he is firmly against it. Schwabe requests that Bedford oppose the bill on behalf of the Bartlesville Chamber of Commerce.
