The letter from Mr. Marshall urges Congressman Schwabe to oppose the passage of the Free Employment Practice Act, stating that it would be detrimental to economic and social life. Mr. Marshall asks Congressman Schwabe to write letters to other New Deal Congressmen from Oklahoma expressing the same views. Congressman Schwabe acknowledges Mr. Marshall's letter and assures him that he will not support the bill in any form.
