The letter from Calhoun Hydraulic Equipment Company expresses their displeasure with the Fair Employment Practices Act and urges Congressman Schwabe to use his influence to defeat the act. Congressman Schwabe responds stating that he is against the act and will vote against it if it ever comes to a vote in Congress. He also advises Calhoun to reach out to other Members of Congress who may be in favor of the act.
