Miss Elizabeth L. Fox wrote to Congressman George B. Schwabe in support of bill H. R. 2497, which aims to benefit federal employees by providing overtime pay, extra pay for night work and holidays, and reducing waiting periods for salary increases. Congressman Schwabe acknowledged receipt of the letter and stated that he is sympathetic to the problems of federal employees and will study the bill before forming an opinion.
