Mr. Schwabe received a letter from Mr. Utter regarding a bill seeking terminal leave pay for enlisted men. Schwabe supports the bill and has spoken to Representative Rogers about it. Despite opposition from the Bureau of the Budget, Schwabe is confident that the bill will be brought to the House floor for consideration. Mr. Utter and the Veterans of Foreign Wars group are urging Schwabe to support the bill, as they believe it is a matter of justice for enlisted men.
