The document discusses a proposed bill that would provide for the automatic promotion of certain hospitalized enlisted men in the armed forces of the United States. Enlisted men in the fourth to seventh grade who have been hospitalized for a service-related disability would receive automatic promotion for every six months of hospitalization, up to the third grade.
