Mrs. Betty Black is writing to Hon. George B. Schwabe, a member of the House of Representatives, to request his support for the Invalid Pension Bill which would provide pensions for World War I veterans who develop disabilities after their service is completed. She emphasizes the importance of this bill and how it would benefit not only the veterans but also their families and the general public. Schwabe responds, stating that he will seriously consider the measure when it is before the House for action.
