Mr. C. M. Sullivan from Tulsa, Oklahoma has written to Congressman George B. Schwabe regarding differences in laws applicable to pensions for veterans of the Spanish-American War and World War I. Schwabe has taken up this matter with the House Committee on World War Veterans Legislation and has received a response from Chairman J. E. Rankin, who has provided information on relevant bills. The issue of pensions for World War I veterans is being considered by the Committee, and Schwabe has pledged to assist Sullivan in any way possible. Sullivan had initially raised this issue with Schwabe after noting that Spanish-American War veterans receive higher pensions than World War I veterans.
