The letter from Mr. Miley G. Summerville to Congressman George B. Schwabe urges him to use his influence to bring three bills concerning veteran benefits out of committee and into consideration. The bills include providing adjusted service pay for World War II veterans, granting pensions to World War I veterans, and allowing insurance credits for military service. Congressman Schwabe responds by stating that he is not a member of the committees handling the bills, but will consider them if they are brought before the House for consideration in the future.
