Alvin D. Rucker, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, wrote to George B. Schwabe, a member of the House of Representatives, urging him to push for the passage of three bills beneficial to veterans. Schwabe responded, stating he is not on the committees overseeing the bills but will consider them if they come before the House. He also expressed doubt about the bills being acted upon soon due to other legislative priorities.
