Captain Clinton E. Riggs wrote to Congressman George B. Schwabe asking for his support on amendments to a bill raising the retired pay of Disabled Officers of the World Wars. Congressman Schwabe responded, stating that he is not a member of the Committee considering the bill but will give its provisions consideration and hopes his vote will meet with Riggs' approval.
