The letter from Mr. Clarence Walters expresses frustration over the limitations placed on veterans in the G.I. Bill of Rights amendment #346, which has caused financial difficulties for many veterans. He urges Congressman Schwabe to take action to restore the benefits promised to veterans. In response, the secretary assures Mr. Walters that Congressman Schwabe, who has four veteran sons, is dedicated to advocating for veterans' rights in Congress, despite the challenges posed by the Democratic Party's majority. The secretary suggests that sending more Republicans to Congress in the upcoming election may help address the issues faced by veterans.
