The letter from George B. Schwabe to Grant Cleghorn discusses the American War Dads organization and the "G. I. Bill of Rights" for service men. Schwabe assures Cleghorn that Indians have the same rights under the bill as any other race. Schwabe also addresses Cleghorn's concerns about his wounded son and the war with Germany. Cleghorn had written to Schwabe seeking information and expressing concerns about the war effort. Schwabe offers to help and expresses hope for a quick end to the war.
