Mr. McNeal writes to George Schwabe requesting his nephew, Charles Hargrove, be considered for the land allocation proposal Schwabe is working on for veterans. Schwabe responds, expressing gratitude for the support and stating that he will work towards getting the bill passed. He also mentions that the land will need to be surveyed and subdivided before veterans can apply for it. Schwabe recalls knowing McNeal's father and other family members, and assures McNeal that he will do what he can to help his nephew.
