Mrs. Adelia Henderson wrote a letter to Congressman George B. Schwabe expressing concern that veterans attending school at A & M College in Stillwater, Oklahoma had not received their monthly allowances under the GI Bill of Rights. She stated that her son, who had been in school since November 1945, had not received any funds. She urged Congressman Schwabe to look into the matter and expedite the process of delivering the allowances to the students. Congressman Schwabe responded by suggesting that she contact her own Congressman, A. S. Mike Monroney, as he was not familiar with the specific cases mentioned.
