Mrs. A. W. Peterman, President of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary 3689 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, sent a letter to Congressman George B. Schwabe urging him to support legislation being presented by the Veterans of Foreign Wars to the State Legislature. Congressman Schwabe responded, expressing his willingness to consider and support any legislation that benefits veterans, as he has a personal interest in the matter with four sons in the service.
