William Roberts, an overseas veteran of World War I, wrote to Congressman George B. Schwabe requesting a copy of Senate Document No. 152, which explains benefits for veterans and their families. Schwabe's secretary responded, informing Roberts that the document could only be obtained from the Government Printing Office in Washington, D.C. She also sent Roberts a new publication on Veterans' Benefits and promised to bring the matter to Schwabe's attention upon his return to Washington. Roberts had previously assisted veterans in applying for benefits and expressed a desire to continue helping them.
