The letter is a request from Early R. Cass to George Schwabe, a congressman, to support the passage of the Gwynne Bill (H.R. 2788) and the McCarran Bill (S. 7). Cass expresses concern about the New Deal crowd not favoring the legislation and mentions that E.J. O'Connor from the Associated Industries of Oklahoma will be discussing the bills with Schwabe.
