The letter is from Early R. Cass, Manager of Beatrice Creamery Company, to George B. Schwabe, a member of the House of Representatives, regarding the Gwynne Bill (HR 2788) which puts a statue of limitation on back pay liability of an employer. Cass expresses concerns about the current regulations and the need for more responsibility on the part of employees to bring compliance issues to employers' attention. Schwabe acknowledges the letter and encourages business people to write to their Congressmen and Senators to support the bill. Schwabe also suggests that this could expedite the process of getting the bill passed into law.
