The letter is from Mr. Schwabe acknowledging receipt of a letter from Mr. Robberson regarding the Gwynne Bill, H.R. 2788. Mr. Schwabe expresses his support for the bill, but is concerned that the New Deal majority in Congress may not favor it. He suggests that Mr. Robberson contact his own Representative regarding the legislation. Mr. Roberson's letter to Mr. Schwabe urges his cooperation in passing the bill, which aims to provide protection for American industry by placing limitations on claims and suits under the Wagner Act.
