S.J. Res. 133 establishes the American Indian Policy Review Commission to review the historical and legal relationship between American Indians and the Federal Government. The Commission will be composed of 15 members, including Congressional members and Indian representatives. They will have the power to hold hearings, subpoena witnesses, and access necessary information. The Commission's expenses will be covered by a $2 million appropriation for salaries, contracts, and other necessary expenses.
