The Inter-Tribal Council, Inc., representing eight tribes, passed a resolution in support of Senate Bill 2938 and HR 12835, the "Indian Health Bill", with the condition that language limiting participation to reservation Indians be removed. The resolution was signed by the President and Secretary/Treasurer of the council and copies were forwarded to various legislators and organizations involved in Indian affairs.
