Senator Dewey Bartlett inquired about possible employment for Lawrence Shorman as a Construction Inspector in the Indian Health Service in Oklahoma. Mr. Shortman's application is being maintained in an open recruitment file and has been referred to the PHS Indian Hospital in Clinton, Oklahoma for consideration. Senator Bartlett expressed his appreciation for any accommodation that could be made for Mr. Shorman in the Clinton area or elsewhere in Oklahoma. Director John W. Davis expressed interest in having Mr. Shorman as an employee due to his background in environmental controls.
