U.S. Senator Seeks Answers on Indian Housing Moratorium, 1973-04-05

Senator Dewey Bartlett received a telegram from Vance Tahmahkera, Executive Director of Comanche Indian Housing Authority, requesting that the commitment of 30 thousand housing units for Indian housing be honored and excluded from the January moratorium. Senator Bartlett thanked Vance for the telegram and mentioned that they are working to get an answer on when the moratorium will be lifted.
