Response to Housing Issue for Pauline Hurst from Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma, 1973-06-14

 Item — Box: 32, Folder: 18
Identifier: CAC_CC_003_2_32_18_0010
The letter is a response to Senator Dewey F. Bartlett regarding Pauline Hurst's housing situation. The Cherokee Nation investigated the issue and found that the well was drilled in the wrong location, resulting in a dry well. They suggest finding a new site with access to a water line, as drilling another well on the current site is not feasible. The Cherokee Nation is willing to work with the Hursts to find a solution.
