Mrs. Frances Sam, a resident of the Walker River Indian Reservation in Nevada, wrote to Senator James Abourzezk expressing her concerns about the shortcomings of federal agencies in Indian housing. She requested updates on investigations and emphasized the importance of meaningful responses from Local Housing Authorities. In response, Senator Santini provided Mrs. Sam with information on obtaining documents related to Indian housing from the Library of Congress.
