The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation in Oklahoma is submitting an application for 100 dwelling units of rental housing in Nowata, Oklahoma, for elderly and handicapped individuals. The community already has a successful project called Nowata Gardens with a waiting list of over 200 applicants. The application has been carefully prepared based on the community's needs and positive attitude towards public housing. The Housing Authority is open to answering inquiries and making a presentation to interested parties when the time is appropriate.
