Barbara Stone applied for a Mutual Help Home in April 1973 and is currently #222 on the list in Choctaw County. The Choctaw Housing Authority processes applications chronologically, and Mrs. Stone's application is in progress. Senator Dewey F. Bartlett has been in contact with the Housing Authority on behalf of Mrs. Stone to address her difficulties in obtaining a home. Senator Bartlett has also reached out to the local director to see if they can assist Mrs. Stone. Mrs. Stone expressed her gratitude for the work being done for the people in Choctaw County and hopes to receive an Indian home for her family soon.
