The Bureau of Indian Affairs received a letter from Senator Fred R. Harris regarding a training program proposed by Lear Siegler, Inc., Service Corporation. The Bureau indicated interest in entering into a training agreement to train Indians. The Bureau does not receive funds from the Office of Economic Opportunity for these programs, but can assist in coordinating with them if needed. They appreciate the Senator's interest in developing training and employment opportunities for Indians.
