Inquiry Regarding Seneca Indian Tribe Claims, 1966-08-21

Mr. W.E. Duff wrote a letter to Fred R. Harris, a U.S. Senator, requesting information on the Seneca Indian Tribe claims. Harris responded, stating that he had contacted the Bureau of Indian Affairs for the information and would get back to Duff once he had it. Duff had also inquired about the attorneys handling the claims and the progress of the claims, expressing concern about the expiration of the Indian Claims Commission. Harris thanked Duff for his inquiry and promised to share any information with the Seneca Indians in Oklahoma.
